NEWLY RELEASED...Our world class Silicon Irradiance Sensor is now available with an RS485 communications channel with Modbus RTU protocol embedded. The unit comes with a software package for setting up the Modbus address and other RS485 communication channel parameters. Or you can give us your communications channel specifications and we will set it up for you.

Two versions are available. One outputs irradiance levels and cell temperature on the Modbus channel. The second model also has two auxiliary ports, one for a wind speed sensor (Vwind-Si) and an ambient temperature sensor (Tambe-Si). In this device, all four signals (irradiance, cell temperature, wind speed, and ambient temperature) are output on the RS485 Modbus data packet.
